Every scientific theory starts as a hypothesis – an idea that hasn’t been proven yet. If enough evidence accumulates to support a hypothesis, it moves to the next step – known as a theory. Theoretical Rhythms embraces the same approach. Everything starts in the imagination as an idea, forming into real music with the evidence that supports it, in this case - musical instruments and voices.

“In Theory EP" by Theoretical Rhythms starts with “Mochila” which is dedication to the B-Boy/B-Girl scene. Hard funk drums and fat bass guitar with the well known funk guitar sound form a powerful piece pulling you towards the dancefloor. “Fatima's Dream" put emphasis to more sensitive subjects, but still supported by heavy funk drums, reggae hook and Iranian vocals that breaks your heart. “Level 6” is Red Snapper influenced track with live DnB drums and bass, and Hip Hop and Jazz elements that make you wanna moooove.

With “In Theory EP" Theoretical Rhythms is blurring the lines between hypothetical and real, abstract and actual, spiritual and material. The listener will decide if the gathered evidence are good enough and the theory can be accepted as a valid one.
